When the single is a hit and the sales can't go up, the single failed, fact.
When the single is not a hit and boost the sales, it worked, fact.
That's the Hurt case, it was a well charted hit, but it didn't help the sales.
Candyman is the opposite is not a well charted single but helped the sales.
