Big rates like these rarely stand a chance. Beyond just the blind stanning factors, these songs are stuff that has already been talked about to death and people have formed opinions that they won't change. So people will send in their votes, but then they don't care that much to actually stay for the results and discuss them. Plus with this many participants, there aren't really many ways that it could have happened for even a small majority to be happy.
Good job iHype. I know this was messy, but you should still host another rate some time in the future. Maybe try something more niche or like a discography or essentials rate. Those are fun just because there can be an element of discovery within the rate that is absent from rates that only cover major singles.
