I mean, I love Only Teardrops but it was so obvious that Emmelie had been planned to win since the very beginning. I didn't follow the Eurovision this closely back then, I would only watch the grand final, and YouTube had been spamming me with Only Teardrops for a couple of months before the contest (she signed to Universal) so I obviously got to listen to it, love it, and vote for it in the grand final

But I do agree that the contest was sabotaged for Only Teardrops. That song is cute, but not a winner imo. They tried it with Dami this year but Jamala got her revenge for Zlata!

What kind of lies are you trying to believe. I Feed You My Love remains one of the best ESC songs this decade, but Bombo would probably have a wider appeal. We went for quality and appeal instead
