Unless Katy is releasing a Thriller video, I dont see it having that big of an impact on her sales. She's sold the majority at this point.

Regarding BEP....they performed for AI , 27 million people. They also performed in front of 106 million people at the superbowl and went #1 on US itunes, and that didnt make them #1. Their airplay is not at all impressive, and just because you perform on a show, doesnt mean radio will jump on the song

It seems that the Billboard Hot 100 is gonna be in for it. Loser Like Me looks to be poised for a Top 5 debut and Get It right in the top 10. The Top 5 is gonna be like this (GaGa, Katy, Rihanna, GLEE and maybe Glee again?) I think Cee Lo can at least maintatin in the top 5 as well.

I just need Katy not to sell more than 35K more than Rihanna this week. Rihanna has the streaming advantage as the single has a music video and also A lead on radio. Just as long as the Radio AI is at least 40 points more than Katy. I think its gonna be a showdown.

I may not be on the S&M bandwagon for it going #1 but at least if it gets there I will have the privilege to say that it fought a Hard fight to get there.

Why does everything have to be shade for you people? I do want S&M to hit #1, it's miles more deserving than OG and WMN at the very least. I'm just being realistic, and I don't want to get my or anyone else's hopes up when I really don't think S&M has a chance to go #1 in the next couple weeks. Whoever said it just needs to stabilize is right. Its consistent sales of 170K needs to stay at that or higher. Once it starts dropping to the 150K-ish and lower, chances will get smaller and smaller.

I havent been up to date lately with the iTunes.

I was expecting Rih to sell 170 and Katy to do a 200K this week. It seems like she will do more though. So 225K for Katy and 175 for Rihanna. A big 50 point difference.
