Oh no, this is one that I actually wouldn't want. OPs are usually huge walls of text, especially in base or music threads. They take up too much space. If it was a random thread like a celebrity image, then I guess it might be nice. But you don't see how much OP drama there really is and this might make it a thousand times worse. Sticky OPs are something that you see around in thousands of forums yet it's something that has never been installed here. As you noticed already, you and Funky had unfortunately some similar ideas. However, each one of you made a different presentation for it and they're not identical. Suggested threads are really something that this site needs and this is why it's been my favorite idea this round. Th other entry only beats you because it's been more detailed and it adds even more to the site with the music suggestions as well. The way you made it, on the other hand, would be the easiest way for ATRL to install it, in their current tragic situation. This is an idea I've pitched to Athens before! It's so hard to keep track of all the things we do on ATRL. And if you're like me, the only hope you have is leaving your PMs unread until you're ready to deal with them. So I have like 12 at any given time The way you implemented it is gorgeous. It's simple but could really be a lifesaver. It brings a lot of questions, though. Could users put anything on their calendar? Would it be used in a shady way? Could there be a way to make it private? I'm not sure if the ticker looks the best with the way you have it. I might opt for a tiny scroll box to the far right, sort of like a celebrity's RSS feed.
