Everything seems to be lining up for DiCaprio's win. Now he/his film just have to deliver.

If he had the double whammy of Blood Diamond/The Departed this year, he'd probably win.

She's great as always. Her accent is FAULTLESS which is extremely rare for people playing Australians. Everyone I know has praised her accent.

People are starting to predict him more and more as The Martian continues to dominate the box office and Oscar bait like Steve Jobs spectacularly flops. People are starting to pull Johnny Depp from their predictions (why, I don't know, he was supposed to be the overdue frontrunner a month ago). I can see him happening and it would be deserved. The most lazy part of Hello is the melody (at least for me, especially in the chorus). Shake It Off has an incredible melody that stays in your head for years even if the lyrics are somewhat cringe.
