Well, what can I say? One Direction is European and they SHOULD be winning at award shows like the EMAs. North American artists like Gaga and Bieber have no business being there. Let alone being more nominated than the European artists.

If they are dominating the charts there then they should be. That's like saying that Psy shouldn't really be allowed to sweep because he's a Korean Artist. Not fair, if they have impacted those countries then they should be equally allowed and more.

Regardless 1D did win the vote, they caught up pretty fast towards the end anyway.
