By the way, do we know if these are the rescheduled shows from the Asian leg of the Get $leazy Tour? She postponed a few shows after last year's earthquake and tsunami... I wonder if this upcoming Japanese promo was set up because of that.

No, the rescheduled show is August 21st. These 2 shows (18th & 19th) are part of a music festival in Japan.

Keep in mind that the Japan days have been planned for a long long time. And the album was supposed to come out in May. When she scheduled those performances, she thought she'd have a whole new set list to perform. Things didn't go as intended obviously and she may have just left the Japan days as they were even though they no longer fit the plan, so I don't know how much of a single release date deadline indication the Japan shows really are...

you're talking about the rescheduled show she was supposed to do last year, but she's also performing at a music festival there and she's also gonna be a mentor on the x factor, now we already know that this somehow has to do with her single coming out so she can promote it!

Yes, even though the album was pushed back, it still makes sense that she would premier something new during her Japan shows, especially since it's right around the corner from X-Factor (which her company had her join with the intention of promo)

I think she will perform all her old material at her Get $leazy Tour dates but she should perform at least the first single at the festival but you never know with K$.

This is a more solid assumption judging by the fact that she's playing at an actual music festival, not part of her Get $leazy Tour, so we are in the right to assume she'll debut something.
