When you are creating a PM, you have the option below the text field to save your messages to your Sent Items folder. Check the box to have your message saved.
Additionally, if you'd like for all your message to be saved without having to check the box every time, you can have all your messages automatically save by going to your
Preferences (My ATRL > Preferences). scrolling down to the "Private Messaging" section and checking "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default"
Unfortunately, there is no way to see the messages you sent
without/before doing either of those things.
