I went last Saturday to the US Open courts to watch the pros practice before the competition started. I watched Venus, Sveta Kuzentsova, Martina Hingis, Flavia Penetta, Agnieszka Radwanska, Kei Nishikori, Cibulkova, Robredo and a couple of others.
Hingis was a lot of fun to watch even on the practice court. She is really talented. Some shots she was making with her practice partner would get applause from the people. She was then trying to play with a left hand, because her practice partner was a leftie and she was doing pretty well. Sveta Kuznetsova was also fun to watch. Venus was boring. She looked like she was extremely bored and she was making a ton of mistakes while hitting the ball with her partner. Radwanska had a huge team helping her practice. Robredo was awesome. Great agility. He was playing shirtless and you could see his toned skinny torso. Not a speck of extra weight anywhere.
