I just keep thinking that she should have waited after a third PCD album to go solo the way Beyonce did. It wouldn't have hurt her image so much if she waited. "Whatever U Like" and the JR Rotem remix of "Baby Love" could have easily been huge PCD singles and other songs on the album could have featured more of the members' voices. Nicole could have done some collaborations on the side to keep her name out there and then by 2010, she could have released Killer Love and people would have been more receptive to her and the album
Oh well.

Yeah I agree though. I was very suprised she went solo after just one album. Gwen waited several albums to step out of No Doubt and even Fergie did two albums with BEP before leaving the group for her first solo attempt.
But yeah I guess what's doen is done and we should enjoy these lackluster TV shows she is part of

Just Say Yes is such a good song, I can't believe she let it go, she should had released her version. I listen to that song a lot and that song still gets played a lot on the radio here in Canada (the Snow Patrol version). I think Nicole does have good taste in music, it's just that for some odd reason she often releases the most banal ones. Her Name Is Nicole overall had really nice songs, but alas that era was doomed.

yeah, she also picked the right songs for DD, I feel she is kinda insecure about herself and what she wants to represent, so then she includes random/banal choices to show different sides
