I went to the beach today, and while I was there caught like 30 Magikarp, (150 candies so far) some Dratinis, Psyducks, Slowpokes and weirdly there were a lot of Ryhorns.
I hatched a 952 CP Porygon from a 5k egg, 94%. Bulbasaur came out of my 2k.
I needed a worthy Horsea to evolve (I have the candy) but I caught one 10 CP Horsea
Caught 104, seen 107 so far
overall a good day for Pogo and the beach was cloudy and cool and amazing
Also I have all of these lucky eggs that I don't know what to do with (never used any) because I don't see the incentives in leveling up. What keeps you guys grinding up Pidgeys and Weedles?
Where do you live?
I haven't been able to test it out myself, I wasted all of them maybe it works better in actual national parks, out of the way, uncivilized areas rather than in rural/small towns. Seriously rural players get so ****ed over, I wish there was a log in bonus every day or something
I saw a 1600+ Snorlax yesterday and it ran away from me. I already have one but man that would've been a great one for when I take a gym. Ugh...
I'm level 22, about halfway to 23. In my Pokedex I've caught 116 and have seen 118. I really don't want to spend money on this game but I need some incubators.
The incense theory makes sense imo. My brother went like 5-6 km away from the nearest PokéStop, gym etc. and he found Digletts, Tentacools, Magikarps, Oddishes etc. and when I used it in the city the rarest Pokemon I got was Eevee.
I tried using an incense in the nature reserve behind my house. No nearby Pokemon and far from the nearest Pokestop and I still got Ratattas and Weedles. I also got two Krabbys but they're kinda common here in general so I'm not convinced with this theory
An incense + walking through Central Park where every Pokéstop always has a lure is the best thing ever omg I was there for like a little over an hour and I caught like 60 pokemon ddd;
There were tons of Magikarps, Magnemites, and Voltorbs, but I also caught my first Shellder, Vulpix, Psyduck, Mankey, Geodude, Ponyta, Drowzee, Sandshrew, Omanyte, and Diglett omfg

Huh. So I was wrong. Apparently eggs are region-locked after all. What kind of mess
cool so basically there is no way currently to complete the dex? (unless you are rich/no strings enough to travel just for pokemon ) I thought people had completed it legit though?
It seems like most of the people who've completed their dexes must have spoofed their locations at some point.
I believe one guy was given some sort of sponsored multi-continental trip to complete his dex, though?
mess imagine shelling out all that money for a trip to japan just for you to not run across a farfetched. These exclusives aren't exactly common either, so there is a good chance you won't come across the region pokemon even if you do travel
