Beyonce might take writing credits based on the fact the songs are written with her in mind or something like that. Kelly Rowland has the main writing credits on Dirty Laundry even though she didn't write a single lyric or note, because it was based on her life experiences. Legend
I haven't seen the reviews yet but who has reviewed it so far?
"Pretty Much Amazing", "Entertainment Weekly", "Consequence of Sound", "Exclaim", "cokemachineglow", "The Line of Best Fit", "Pitchfork", "NOW Magazine", "The New York Times", "PopMatters" and "New York Daily News".

She probably talked to the writers and they used some key terms and phrases and wrote them down and used them in the song lyrics. It's kind of a blurred line there since she technically didn't write the song but they could also be using words that came directly out of her mouth too.
But Knee doesn't get praised as an artist, at ALL, she gets zero credit even though she did write things like "Everytime"
Like you said in the other post, it's all about marketing. Honestly, the public doesn't give two ***** about pop stars writing their songs. That's only important for stans. I don't ever hear people talk about pop stars and their songwriting abilities.
