Jive doesn't care about the position. If they did they would've waited till Monday. They just want to make sure they get the most sales they can.

And it'd be emberassing if she couldn't get #1 with a full first week sales vs Gaga's 4th week. Now they can say: "Oh, it's only had X day of sales" etc. This week could be possibly its peak. There's so much competetion.
