He definitely has a number of Mideavel war weaponry incl. cannons and spiky maces to scare her from ever daring leave her exhibit. Bonnie McKee is the gatekeeper.

I can't say that it's THAT scary (I'm not easily scared) but the first and second movies are really good. The cast is really talented, the storyline is amazing, directing is awesome and jump scares are not that basic
