i highly doubt Poker Face will be able to reach the level of success Just Dance has in the US...i dont think it will sell her album any better than Just Dance did.

Just Dance was huge in the pop world. Poker Face's been liked by other genre guys because of it's "darkness," of course also in the pop world, I can tell because last.fm is full of people that hear rock, and the charts are full of rock, but somehow Poker Face is number 9 and Just Dance never even reached the Top 20. So, this helps GaGa to be more known ^_____^.

it wont be as successful in the US based on airplay or digital sales than Just Dance was no matter how 'dark' (WTF?!) you think it is...

When I first heard Just Dance I thought it was kind of dark, but then Poker Face was even darker. I like that quality in some of her songs.

People are just downing "Poker Face" because it's not the "US" sound, but need to understand the US is finally realizing Pop music is back in! No more years and years of R&B/Hip-Hop, all of them are flopping now and that's why a lot of rap artists are going Pop.
CarCal22, I know you're the advocate that it's too "euro" or whatever you had said before, but this is nearing a +1000 bullet on Top 40 radio, and Rhythmic is about to eat it up too. Also it's digital sales are very high right now. I don't see how you think it won't do good. Now if you're generally saying bigger than "Just Dance", well you never know. Signs show that it can do, as "JD" was making these same moves, and "PF" will continue to sell the album.
Stop underestimating one of the Queens!!

Cause it makes no sense. Chris ran out of possible hits, and Justin's re-release was unnecessary considering it didn't produce a new single and it was after the album already achieved six Top 20 singles.
Britney's album can sell on it's own with the tracks it contains. The 4th single will be something slower, hopefully "Unusual You" or "Blur" because those would sell an album, while "OFU" would just get radio play and maybe keep the album a bit stable.

^ UTEOT remix with Beyonce was on JT's rerelease and it was a hit. It went Top 20 (number 17).
I agree about Chris, Forever should've been his last single. Did Superhuman ever debut on the Hot 100?

i think poker face will do BETTER than just dance. its got more addicting lyrics and a WAYYY sicker beat. it has been shooting up the airplay charts faster than just dance did and it is holding on the itunes charts at number 4 which made it capable of staying above kelly clarkson and the all-american rejects, which are two big top ten singles. so dont count poker face out yet since it has only been on the charts for a few weeks now.

Just Dance went to #1 with over 10,000 spins on pop radio, and to #4 on Rhythmic radio, thats a hard feat to overcome, and it wont pass Just Dance is downloads either..

 "Blur" would KILL the album! Personal favorite does not = hit single, Rico. OFU is a blatant rehash of "Everytime," but I think it's the soft and pretty ballad that radio would gobble up and it appeals to the ballad crowd. It sounds very commercial, therefore I think it'll be the most lucrative single choice.
I would fall to my knees and praise Jebus if "Unusual You" is the 4th single though.

you cant predict the future (yes, i know neither can i). poker face is still sitting at number 4 on itunes and may not have peaked yet depending on if she holds on and if the other 3 songs dont crash. she's also flying up mediabase right now and has one of the highest bullets.
