I agree, TTT sounds nice, but it's her worst album to date since she became a superstar. It just ranks above MOTS and AGLM.

What songs on TTT only sound half-finished? And Loud has S&M, Fading, and Raining Men in that department.

Raining Men is a good song but it ends there.
Loud's gems lie in WMN?, OG, CKB, MD, Complicated, Skin, and LTWYLP2.

Red Lipstick, Farewell, We All Want Love... and BC until a few weeks ago.
All those songs you listed though are awesome.

My issue with Loud is that it has a lot of good songs that could have been great. S&M, Cheers, Fading, and Raining Men could have all been utterly AMAZING had there been more time to work on them and improve upon the general skeleton of each track.
Farewell is flawless, and the other 3 I don't really use so you have a claim. But every album has its duds. Loud is a whole lot of average tracks. Where on Loud is there pure MAGIC, aside from WMN? and OG? I love Skin, I love MD, I love CKB, I love Complicated, and I love LTWYLP2 but they aren't literally perfect like WFL, RMO, and WNL are. TTT and WHYB could have been improved upon, but even they trump the mentioned tracks from Loud.

Those gems are over half of the album.
I think Loud's gems are S&M, WMN?, Fading, OG, MD, RM, and Skin.
The only track I don't like on Loud is CKB.

On the standard editions:
Loud - WMN?, OG, CKB, MD, Complicated, Skin, LYTWYLP2 (7 tracks)
TTT - WHYB, WFL, TTT, Cockiness, DOL, RMO, WNL, Farewell (8 tracks)
And the gems on TTT >>> the gems on Loud. If those two were EP's, I'd take TTT's over Loud's any day.

It has always been and will always be what Rude Boy should have been.

What is it about those Loud tracks that you think is incomplete, or needs work on? I think all of those tracks sound complete.
The true gems of Loud are OG and MD, which rank amongst Rihanna's flawless tracks with WFL, Disturbia, and almost all of Rated R. I agree, the other gems on Loud are gems for the album, but not diamonds in her discography.
I enjoy S&M, Cheers, Fading, and RM much more than I enjoy TTT (song) and WHYB. It's all up to personal taste.

Let me just say real quick that I meant to ask "where on Loud is there pure MAGIC aside from WMN? and OG?" CKB, MD, LTWYLP2, etc. are gems to me but they aren't magic like WMN? and OG are.
Anyway, I think S&M's chorus is fine, but it falls completely flat elsewhere. Not to mention how generic it is. It's literally unbearable. They could have stepped it up. Cheers is a mess, maybe even beyond the point of saving. Raining Men has S&M's problem - save for Nicki's verse, which I quite like - and Fading doesn't seem to go anywhere. Plus it opens with a really interesting Enya sample and progresses into a cheap urban-lite midtempo? Like really?

Mediocre in comparison to the rest of a nearly-perfect album?
WFL, WnL, WHYB, YDO, TTT, DoL, BC, Cockiness >>>>>>>> RMO

YDO, BC, and Cockiness do not slay RMO in any possible way. WFL, WHYB, TTT, WNL, and DOL may, but that doesn't change the fact that RMO is ****ing flawless.

I'd probably like RMO better if it was released on a different album. Compared to the other sex songs on TTT, Roc Me Out falls flat on its face. It's an upgraded Rockstar 101, at best.
WnL ***** on every verse, melody, and lyric of RMO. Cockiness provides better **** appeal, and Birthday Cake practically forces a booty clap out of you. RMO does none of those.

But RMO is so angsty and perfectly encases the feelings that come with being horny. Not to mention that it's gritty and the production is fire, plus that chorus is explosive. The Caribbean influences only add to its greatness. I wish I could switch Rude Boy and Roc Me Out, though. RMO would have sounded more natural on RR than RB does, and vice-versa. The line "I'll let you in on a dirty secret; I just want to be loved" is also one of the best she has ever included in a song of hers.

That's what I meant by "diamonds in her discography" - the tracks that are more than gems, they're - as you put it - magic.
S&M may be generic, but what I like about it is that it doesn't attempt to be something more than that, production wise. That is my problem with WHYB, it attempts to be a House song, but it's just generic dance-pop like other people are doing. But I respect your opinion.
I think the opposite of the other tracks (except for Cheers, which I agree to some extent). The "oh yeah-eah, oh woah-oah"s of Raining Men make the track much more fun, plus it has Rihanna "rapping"/fast talking in the verses. And the little part in Fading where the Enya sample and the "urban-lite" beat overlap is heaven to me.

I don't think it's a bad song, but it's not all that great to me either. Of all her **** songs, it's one of the worst, imo.
Watch n' Learn > What's My Name >>> Jesus Christ himself >>>>>>> Birthday Cake > Raining Men > Cockiness > Rude Boy > Skin > Roc Me Out >>>> S&M
