I agree on the uptempo stuff, but it has to be uptempo in an unusual way like Can't Hold Us to smash.
And I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm here for inconsistency, I want tribal, EDM, indie, I want a bit of all.

For the Shakira feature I need something like La Tortura.
I don't get why some people are so obsessed with her going indie, like.. no. The tour would be so mellow, I want some uptempo sh!t. Not the usual sound either, some drums and Caribbean/African or even Spanish influences but done in a Pop-minded manner. I mean, I don't want the whole album to sound like that... but I'm tryna jig a bit.
And yeah, hopefully her team plans out #R8 properly. I need another GGGB type promo run, have her in Canada, Asia, all over Europe, Australia, etc. We don't need another TTT or Unapologetic type run.
As if indie means depressing sad music
Ellie makes indie music and you will find a lot of happy, fun, uptempo songs in her discography. I don't want her to do some Lana or Lorde type music but Rih could pull something like Ellie
I think R8 will be like the most of her albums, not strictly a one genre album, more like just a compilation of really good songs.
I actually think this one will be a bit different. She's clearly aiming for a Spring-Summer release with it, and I think it should fit for the season its released in. RR, Loud, TTT and Unapologetic all clearly have a Fall/Winter vibe to them. As do their lead singles.

Not really. We're looking at yet another Fall/Winter release.
We won't know when she's planning on releasing until she says or drops the first single.
- But with this Shakira collab coming in Jan I have a feeling her and her team are trying to stretch this break and keep Rihanna name on the charts at the same time.
