schools in the south typically get out in may and go back in august and up north it's june and september it's something to do with the weather

actually maybe it is because my school in northern virginia got out in june and this one that's in southern virginia gets out in may, and so did my sister's school in virginia beach

Yeah like G said, we finished the last week of June (bless Regents week tho) and would begin the first or second week of September.
