"Sensible" and "hate Popplio" do not belong together. Y'all don't have any vision or imagination. Popplio will slay in the end.

I could have sworn Korrina's main Pokémon was Mega Lucario, but then I remembered that was before her gym battle. I really hope the Gym Leaders for Sun and Moon have more than 3 Pokémon in their teams. I also hope they're leveled properly, although I think their levels in XY were alright. If they're going to stick with 3 Pokémon per team, maybe they could make you pick only 3 to bring to the Gym battle to attempt to make it a challenge. I'm not sure if I like the idea though...

Gen 6 was so pathetic about that, some of the leaders didn't even have 4 moves on their pokemon. A ****ing joke.

Just make a hard mode please, how can they not know that a good portion of their audience is old enough to cope with a hard mode.

Looking at Serebii, the ONLY Leader to have all of their Pokémon know 4 moves was Olympia.

Heartgold, on Route 27 now and getting ready for Victory Road and the Elite 4 soon. I've got some grinding to do, especially since even the weakest Kanto Gym Leader is on-par with Lance's levels in this generation. I'm not sure yet whether I'll keep this lineup through Red or change it up at some point, but with eight more badges and a League rematch before that, lord knows I have time to decide! I might even have a rematch with all 16 leaders before I take on Mt. Silver.

Y'all, I need some advice - should I grind for the E4 or take them on as-is? It would be a challenge but I've got some great status moves, movesets, and coverage - it might be better as far as experience for those that need it and for getting to Kanto if I just go for it, and it might end up being more fun.

Well they want to cater to the kids. But even then there are kids that are playing games like COD and Warcraft so they have no excuse to have it in or make the game challenging

I can't be the only who keeps EXP Share off during the first run right? I hate people who keep it on, take all megas given to them and complain that the game is easy

I'd at least get everyone to whatever level Meganium is at once you reach the E4. As is, your Gyarados might be a slight bit too weak compared to the others. I really like your team, the movesets on Gyarados, Dragonair, and Arcanine are amazing.

It's kind of ridiculous how they made a challenge mode feature for one game and then removed it
Even if you have to play the game once to unlock the harder mode, that's still better than nothing. The way they always take out great features drives me crazy, I'm guessing soaring is the next one game wonder, alongside other greats like Pokemon following you and the aforementioned difficulty setting

They created a balanced game that was suited for our time and age, where everyone is very busy and young people have various means of entertainment. Using smartphones and other devices they can access a great number of games, so the time they dedicate to a single game is less than in the past. The player can choose to keep on playing after the main story and continue to the post-game, where the difficulty rises and there are much more difficult Trainers and challenges to overcome.
