Jessica on the other hand, started up her own business and resigned her contract to plan on doing one more album promotions before she left the group and focused on her business/solo ventures completely. She got the plans OK'd, but then I guess SM and the other SNSD members didn't like how she was handling group activities or didn't like the idea that she would miss out on some for her business which they don't receive profit from. So pretty much they decided to kick her out and let her go before the album promotions even though she had just resigned (thus why the group had to refilm CMIYC, etc.)
So afterwards, they split up and obviously Jessica was hurt and SNSD probably were under gag orders for PR reasons. Jessica still contacts some SNSD members. Jessica bought out of the remaining of her contract and signed with Coridel.
Bottom line is, SNSD is disbanding or going on indefinite hiatus soon. Jessica just got kicked out a bit earlier than planned.

It's not exactly what happened. In fact nobody really knows, even now.
But there was no indication that Jessica planned to leave after "one more album". Her exit from the group was sudden and unplanned. There was obviously an intervention that reached a breaking point.
They fired her from the group just as she arrived to China in time for the fanmeeting. Also, she remained a contracted SNSD member from October 2014 to August 2015 even though she was excluded from participating in their activities.

There was likely a meeting where she said she wanted out, probably to go to Coridel.
As a compromise, SM officially announced Sulli's departure, 4 Walls comeback (so they could stop performing Red Light all the time), fandom name and their first solo concerts.

But a total fanfic. I don't believe Krystal ever would have thought about going with Coridel. If Krystal gets to the point where she leaves SM/f(x), it'll be to abandon K-pop altogether.
And even if she was to pull a Sulli and leave the group, she'd get more guaranteed CF's with SM.

I agree, and Coridel Ent. didn't even exist at the time Sulli left f(x).
But if Krystal remained with SM outside of f(x), I think they'd put her in the dungeon with very few activities.

don't think SNSD will ever officially "disband".
probably just hiatuses here and there and the occasional comeback. I think they all know the group brand is always useful to them.
and besides, SNSD still makes a lot of money

The Grace never disbanded, they just never cameback.
SNSD will have the same fate (not anytime soon tho).

Good. I'm willing to endure this pain as long as it ensures that they're safe from splitting.

I just did some reading and both of what you guys said matches up with the info I was looking at. So basically, in its simplest form, she started a fashion label and they felt her priorities weren't straight so they had her booted. All of a sudden, I feel some sympathy towards her and want to cheer her on. Always thought she did something bad. But yeah, I don't see SNSD officially "disbanding" either. They have a brand to live off of. Such a huge one at that. Solo ventures and occasional comebacks after long hiatuses make more sense for them.

Time for HyunA to come back to the Wonder Girls. Ditch Cube, sis and be the JYP Girl that you have always been.

I feel sorry for Sorn Gomez. She stands out in a flop group like CLC.

My info is from the Korean fansite masters. They tend to know a lot and be accurate, so idk. Also, she was excluded from activities but still an SNSD member under SM so she had to buy out her own contract to go solo under Coridel.
