Yup. Nicole is a vocalist and I think her ability to jump from genre to genre gives her an advantage.. I can't see Jessica leading a full urban song a la 'Out Of This Club' kinda of song or belting out 'Elevator'.. Oh. and Nicole is better looking. I don't think PCD would reunite without Nicole or her being lead. They would flop.

Nicole always takes year-long breaks, either doing something in the USA or doing some TV show job. Europe and Asia are Nicole's markets because those are the only markets where her solo music has had any success. In Europe, especially in the UK, Nicole has proven to be a Top 5 singles artist, she just needs to continue building momentum there and establish her fanbase. Asia is another potential market, Nicole is half-Asian for crying out loud she already has an advantage and Asians in general has a preference for Asian artists (source: I'm Asian), it's an untapped market for Nicole, proven by the private shows she always does around Asia which are always successful. I'm baffled really by Nicole's management.

It's the same issue in Asian countries because most don't have a music market due to low legal music sales (except for Japan and maybe South Korea). Asians in general having a preference for Asian artists isn't entirely true; most countries prefer local artists from their own country and also western pop music. Nicole being half Filipina might help in the Philippines and her looks are definitely well-received in Southeast Asia, South Asia and Central Asia, but again, none of these parts of Asia have music markets. Okay so you're point is that Nicole is a flop everywhere since you're basically saying she has no market. Good, we should just close this thread then.
She should just go independent artist. I'm tired of waiting and waiting.
That would be even worse though. If Nicole really cared so much about making it BIG and doing it to "heal her soul" blablabla. She already would have found a way to share music more frequently etc.
I get that she is not able to share her unreleased stuff she recorded with the money of Interscope, because I geuss Interscope holds the rights for it. But she easily should be able to record some music with friends and release it as mixtape or random release.
Just look at for example Chris Brown. He releases studio albums under RCA, but also records lowkey with friends and has released a couple of mixtapes. I mean I even bet that Nicole can produce music by herself if she wanted to with help of someone who can play guitar or piano.
I get that Nicole herself is probably no business woman, but she also plays it far too safe when it comes to her career. She is far too insecure about things and most of the album scraps and shelved releases have to be a final descision made by Nicole, rather than the labels she is/was part of.
She just needs a label that signs her and who basically guids and forces her to record and finish an album in a certain timeframe and just release it soon after it's done, instead of waiting for something to be her next "miracle" A.K.A. hitsong, since that won't ever happen at this point.
Im really hoping the rumors about the PCD reunion are true. It seems like we aint getting any Nicole solo music, so we might as well have her in PCD. At least she will serve with bops and some awesome performances.
I really think they could smash again. They are the last iconic girl group. They could be huge again, especially worldwide. It would bring back so many memories. And tbh, NO OTHER act out there is bring what PCD brought to the table. They were ENTERTAINERS. Their performances **** on everyone. The energy, the dance moves, the BOPS.
If Britney is indeed performing at the Superbowl, PCD should be her guest performers. The perfect comeback. The perfect platform. And Britney was linked with PCD too many times in the past.
