Pretty much what went down is:
So like SNSD is already getting older and a the members are going off into their solo ventures and don't want to have to do SNSD activities anymore. You have Taeyeon with her solo, Seohyun and Tiffany with TTS, Yoona acting, etc. etc.
Jessica on the other hand, started up her own business and resigned her contract to plan on doing one more album promotions before she left the group and focused on her business/solo ventures completely. She got the plans OK'd, but then I guess SM and the other SNSD members didn't like how she was handling group activities or didn't like the idea that she would miss out on some for her business which they don't receive profit from. So pretty much they decided to kick her out and let her go before the album promotions even though she had just resigned (thus why the group had to refilm CMIYC, etc.)
So afterwards, they split up and obviously Jessica was hurt and SNSD probably were under gag orders for PR reasons. Jessica still contacts some SNSD members. Jessica bought out of the remaining of her contract and signed with Coridel.
Bottom line is, SNSD is disbanding or going on indefinite hiatus soon. Jessica just got kicked out a bit earlier than planned.
She also plans to go into acting.
