I didn't get that vibe, but I did predict most of them as the plot is moving toward the "living vs ww" phase, and most of the deaths were characters in the political subplots (tyrells, freys, boltons + balon) with loose plotlines that need to be tied up given the show won't overstay it's welcome. Thats why I expect Cersei, LF, Euron, possibly jaime/sweetrobyn, and possibly-but-i-hope-not, Sansa gone by the end of S7. If it were all about cutting costs, many of them could have just been omitted altogether.

Some of their executions were tacky, I think I said before that prior to Miguel Sapochnik's last two episodes I almost stopped watching, ep 8 in particular was that dreadful.

She actually does go through some character development around S6, it's just subtle since she's not a main/POV character. Let's see if you still like her after S5 doe

Ironically, the fall of most good houses and characters came from trying to attach themselves to that incestuous cesspool of a royal family. In a perfect world the Tyrells and Starks could have made an alliance, and the Martells seemed to hate the Lannisters from the get go. Robb × Marg & Sansa × Tristan (?) or Renly () would have won the war ages ago. Like King Midas, the "golden" Lannisters ruin everything they touch.

It would be in Jorah's best interest to go Asshai and seek for healers or spellsingers. But I don't think that'll ever happen

Or we're going to see her struggle in the Narrow Sea for a little while ?

Season 6 was a pretty damn good season for the good guys, but that's not what GoT is about. GoT gives us something then takes it back shortly after in dramatic ways, it's a very bittersweet show. D&D made it pretty obvious that Dany is now unstoppable, but I'm pretty much sure it's only to lure us towards another blow for Dany.

I think once Euron will hear that Dany promised to support Yara’s claim to the Iron Islands over him, he's likely to turn his head towards another queen. If he can't marry this queen, let's go the other one, especially if she's also an enemy of Dany. That means that Cersei and Euron have an enemy in common: Daenerys. I can see Cersei promise to marry Euron in exchange of his fleet. (of course she's going to kill him in his sleep down the road but until then she's going to use him)

Predictions on WiC convinced me that a huge naval battle will happen in Season 7 and Dany will come out weaker:

Daenerys’ coalition is pretty unstoppable…on land. Dothraki, Unsullied, dragons, Tyrell and Dornish knights…there’s just no fighting that. Her fleet of ships, however, is more vulnerable. The Dothraki’s prowess on horseback and the Unsullied’s nigh-invincibility on the ground count for little at sea. Even her dragons might be neutered. Although the show hasn’t gone into this, it stands to reason that the dragons may not be able to follow the fleet over open water for long periods of time. I’m not sure the ships in the final shot of Season 6 are big enough for Drogon to sleep on, and unless the dragons can fly indefinitely, they may have to retreat to the mainland for the occasional rest, and cross into Westeros where the Narrow Sea is narrowest.

The Ironborn, on the other hand, are experts at fighting at sea. If Euron, with his 1000 ships, can meet Daenerys’ fleet on the open water, he could have an advantage, and he may have yet another trick up his sleeve.

The show killed Ramsey but they introduced Euron who will basically be the new Ramsey. They have the same ****ed up/sociopath personality. He's going to play very dirty against Dany.

S7 is only 7 episodes, so that means that they won't spend extra time for fillers and stretching like S5. I can see her reaching Westeros in the first episode, but I'm not sure if she'll sail straight to KL.
