Christina Aguilera may already be an entertainment do-it-all – but she's far from finished.
The busy songstress and mother-of-two says she's still got plenty of projects she's eager to pursue.
"I'm just open and I surrender to what the universe has to bring me," she told PEOPLE Friday night at Las Vegas' Hakkasan Nightclub. "I'm also into pursuing another record, more film in the future and seeing whatever keeps me going as far as passion projects. That's what it really boils down to for me."
And that was exactly why Aguilera, 34, decided to film three episodes of Nashville, the second of which airs this week.
"I'm always open to trying something new and challenging myself in different surroundings," she said of her time on the set of the ABC show.
The Voice coach took a brief break to hang out with a few friends at the Vegas nightclub before performing at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Dallas Sunday.
It might all sound like a whirlwind – but the veteran professional doesn't mind.
"I'm one of those people that goes and does the work, lives in the moment and just literally puts it out there," she says.
