Midnight Memories is the dumbest single choice Syco has ever made for them. I don't know about how much input they have when it comes to their work after all they do have writing credits. But sometimes it comes off as if they have no to little say at all. There was this interview where Louis was joking around about having no control at all while looking at their managers/handlers.
I like this album, it a nice change, defiantly more mature than their previous work. Not an instant album where you like everything at once. But for the next album I hope they do something else than the type of rock influenced tracks they've been doing.
I think people have this reaction cuz it's different from the first two albums
