I first heard of her in late 2011. October/November.
I first heard DIOE and STANNED for that song. After that I listened to her other songs on her VEVO channel and I loved how she rapped but still gave me "pop girl" vibe. I never saw her as a pop girl tho. For me she always was a rapper and she's always gonna be that. I loved her persona and discovering new verses (there was tons of verses to discover). Like 3 days later from the day that I first heard DIOE I bought PF on iTunes. Right before the grammys I knew all her songs and verses by heart. I literally only listened to Nicki the whole time.
Sometimes I went to YT to listen to those 1 hour mash ups of her verses. That's why I learned them by heart so fast.
I had a melt down after her grammy performance because I thought that that's gonna be the end of her career. I literally cried and my sister called me crazy.
But when Starships premiered I knew that it would become HUGE. I still had hopes for PFRR because I LOVED SH.
By the time PFRR came out, I was officialy a stan.
I've kept up with Nicki ever sine and didn't miss any song/verse, interview and what not.
And now I'm here, almost 3 years later, still stanning for Nicki and telling you guys my story.
Damn, I wrote a damn essay but I really wanted to write it down once. In fact, it was kinda like a summary because I could've said even more.
I will miss them
