What they could do for the song at the moment is putting it in a new Pantene commercial and make sure it airs in the big channels like ABC, CBS and NBC. There is the TCA next month, but I do not think I want Selena involved. I mean, award shows like KCA/TCA/PCA can stay in 2013. Her team missed chances to create some hype for the song. They should've used BBMA at least to announce KEWK as a single. It's a 4th single and, of course, they do not pretend to do any wonders with it.

I've already resigned myself to the fact that selena will never serve flashy, visually extravagant pop MVs ever again..If you analyze her moves/interviews lately, she's trying to transition herself to becoming a full time actress in the future. She's been saying that directors have been reluctant to cast her or even just give her an audition due to her being known a certain way (disney pop girl, tabloid fodder, etc). To be taken seriously in the movie world, she has to rebrand her image, especially since she doesn't want to take teenage roles in a teen movie. She's gunning for more mature roles.

And oh, she says she's going to delete her Instagram account in a couple of years. Probably when she's already a full time actress. She's envious of actors who can have a private life and not be hounded by press all the time.

And i don't think she's striving to become a major pop girl either. She did practically no promo on her lead single and didn't do much for hands to myself. I wouldn't be surprised if the car pool karaoke will be the last promo she will do for kewk (if she did indeed sing it in the show). I remember her saying in an interview that she'll be fine if she loses all the fame/pop career. She'll be just as happy living in texas and running a coffee shop.

Selena always contradicts herself in interviews when it comes to this specific subject of "full time actress". She JUST said in her last interview that she is going to make new movies after tour BUT that right now her priority is music, and that she thinks this (music) will be her priority for more a bunch of years!

She doesn't have much promo, that's correct but at least she got some great spots (SNL, AMA, VSFS) and seriously, Selena is full time promoting, u guys just doesn't notice it. Her promo on social media is huge, she get tour advertisements on snapchat, she created a intagram acc only for her tour. she takes professional photos (that makes A LOT of tabloids headlines!!!!) just to post it on the tour Instagram. this is ALL promo guys and a SMART promo. (that is working btw)

We all wanted to see her performing way more on tv shows and awards but unfortunately that's just not how her promo works, and it don't mean she doesn't want to be a A-List pop star, I really think she does. she really wants to be taken seriously and is constantly working on her image, doing better songs, SLAYING on tour.

About her music videos. They all matches up with the concept of the album. minimalist but great. (too bad they all lack replay value) but they matches the concept of the era really well.

Relax guys, Selena's music career is doing great (we just got 3
freakings #1 on pop radio) and it will keep doing better and better. Selena and her team are way smarter than we think they are.

Not when she just released the worst single possible from the album and it's already starting to stall on radio. Girlfriend needs to be careful, because radio could drop ha ala Demi if she doesn't focus on picking the right singles.
