Since we're mostly coming from previous feuds with each other, let's clear certain things up:
What were your secret jealousies towards the other fanbase? Like what did you wish Beyoncé could have what Rihanna did have and vice versa.

Honestly, nothing. I think both ladies are perfect in their own way. Which is why Im a big fan of both, to me one picks up where the other may lack .
But at the same time I do think they could learn from each other: Like previously I always felt that Bey cared entirely too much about what others thought of her ( the public perception of her) But with this era I see she's knocking down those walls she had up and being more free/open. Im proud of her.
Rih seems to be comfortable in her status now, I think she needs to regain her "spark", she could be soooo much better than she is. So that determination is something she could take from Bey.

Me and Ri are the same age and for that reason I feel like I "connect" with her and feel like we're at the same place in our lives. I used to excuse some of her actions like oh she's young and just enjoying life, but I'm at the point in my life where I'm honestly tired of partying and everything has come full circle and the only thing I want to do is focus on my career and my future. We live in two completely different worlds, and although I do think Ri has made the comment saying she's over partying, I wish she would settle down a bit. I can't really explain it. Like one of the reasons why I love Rihanna is because she's so real, down to earth, and out there, and I still want her to be that way because I do feel like it's genuine. I don't feel like it's a facade like some people insinuate; however, I do wish she had more "structure" like Bey.
I'm not saying she should run and get married and have kids, but sometimes Ri's **** it personality comes off as her not giving any ****s whatsoever. I used to be the same way, saying "oh I'm just living and enjoying life", but it's gotten to the point where everything I do now is for my tomorrow. I mean maybe she does have that mentality. I don't know that bitch.
My only issue is that people tend to treat Rihanna like **** to bring Bey which I have never liked. They are both great and you don't have to trash one to bring the other one up.
I think sometimes Rih takes things a BIT too far, and sometimes it comes off really bad BUT in hindsight she is growing up, I don't see a girl when I look at her anymore she is a woman even if she can be a BIT messy. I wish Rih would take her era's a bit more seriously like she use to. And Lastly, it annoys me when people discredit Rihanna's music. She makes some of the better music out of her current pop peers, she has cowritten on MOST of her albums(better than nothing), and she's self aware of what her fans want from her.
Bey is a different case, for a while I never felt I could relate to her because as a person, as well as her upbringing being far different than mine. However, personality wise I think I'm more similar to her than Rihanna NOW. I'm reserved around those I don't know and to others but not my friends. I want to be married like Bey but still be free and live life. Once I watched more interviews, and documentaries I realized we had similar views, and that she's one of the most misunderstood entertainers out there.

I just wish Rihanna put as much effort into performing as B does. But I get why she doesent cause Rih always has 101 things going on at one.
And for B I wish she was more comfortable in interviews, they always feel (excluding some) like... rehearsed. Like she's gave them the questions she wants them to ask &wants to leave ASAP. But that's not neccessarily a bad thing.
Again like above not jealous of anyone, but I wish Bey dressed as fashionably as Rih. Bey used to be so glamorous and on point but since Blue Ivy she's become a Solange style lowkey mess like she still slays (sometimes) but that style is just not to my taste, whereas Rih is almost always on point
I think Bey dresses better than ever. 2008 till now has been a steady incline.
If they ever collab together I need hem to serve me a SOTS/WatchNLearn type of song or something like POTR/Partition/Diva/TTT
I really hope that their teams are reading this thread
Do you guys know any good Rihanna/BEYONCÉ mashups?
Also, about Bey's fashion sense, I think she got way better. I like her style now, more than ever.
I agree with bey0nce, I'm actually obsessed with the way Rihanna dresses and shes more relaxed than B, she doesn't care so much what people say about her and thats just something B is learning
I just wish Rihanna's album cycles were slightly longer, some tracks that really deserved videos/single treatments even if they weren't going to smash.. just got ignored and thats like a daily pain in my heart
When it comes to Bey, I would like to see her push her music like Rih (I mean, she kinda used to anyway...idk why she quit). This attitude of "it's about the art" and "ain't gonna make no money off of this anyway" is cute. But there needs to be some effort on her part to ensure success of her newer songs for future listeners.
As for Rih, definitely wish she had Beys work ethic. If she could kil the stage like she kills Billboard records, she'd be a legend by now. Like...no joke.

Just curious where you saw Beyonce pushing her music previously, but not right now.
With regards to their very different attitudes and approaches to the celebrity lifestyle, I feel like we need both Rihanna and Beyoncé to exist in the industry for that reason in that they cover the grounds pretty well.
You could never have someone as laid back, honest and fun as Rih that also works their ass off to perfect everything. Somewhere down the line they're going to conflict. This is why I hate the fight between who is "better". Neither are perfect and they have different strengths and weaknesses and for that reason I love supporting both of them.

side note - Let just continue praising though, and not this jealousy thing, because thats already heading back down the comparison route

I agree wholeheartedly. They have always been the "only" pop girls in my eyes. Combined they have everything I could possibly want or need in a music artist/popstar

Just one era back her visibility was perfect. Not too much (like IASF) and not too little. The problem was just the music didn't resonate with the larger public (still performed great for an RnB album).
Now that people love her music and the album is a hit right off the bat, she gives two performances then disappears.
