The game is actually the first one chronically and the rest of the saga takes place in the demon's lord dark domains, not in the actual world of light

Wtf at my boyfriend Tiz being dead the entire time??? I'm so sad omg. Praying Bravely Second has him revived or something. That's what I got from the "Special Movie" at least.

But also the whole Celestial Realm = the player's world was kind of amazing

He isn't. I believe he went into a coma. Iirc the sequel is going to explain this mess.

The lore in XII is so amazing and detailed.

Final Fantasy XIII's trilogy remains one of my favorites in the series, but it's so blatantly obvious they had no idea what to do with Sazh after XIII.
