Charm School students, this week your class was Politics, in which we studied and dissected the idea of reputation. One's reputation is a direct reflection of their actions - so your ATRL reputation depends on how much you'll cleaned up your act and made an effort to be well known. As we reach the end of the competition, it's too late to say "I'm still going to change!". The time is now.
Your peers were asked to rank you on who deserves to be here and who doesn't, as well as who is most and least likeable. The ATRL public was asked to share their thoughts on you. This information was used to help the Faculty determine who has the worst reputation. That person will be expelled.
The person going home is...
!Blue!
So sorry to see you go Blue, but between the public thread and the peer surveys, the Faculty felt that you fared the worst. At this point you're all great, and it's sad to see someone like you go - but that's just the nature of the game! Keep on building up your reputation here on ATRL, and before long everyone will see what we see in you - you're a great member of this community!
Jad, Barbie, Nicki - you've made it to the last week of Charm School. The FINAL (!!!) Graduation challenge will be posted shortly.
Can't believe I made actually made the finals of Charm School.
I went from being a member that was just in the middle to being in the TOP 3
I'm so proud of myself
I know this is Charm School and all, but why do I get the gist that a notable reputation on ATRL is like the saying: "Bad promo is better than no promo"? Because in the end, ATRL will either always love a hot mess, or your general popularity (however it came about) will still be held in high esteem.
It's all about being bold enough to put yourself out there.

Of course ATRL loves a hot mess. It's a pretty well known fact. Being a hot mess is entertaining to others. Let's be honest here, we all like it when someone's fave doesn't get this award or doesn't succeed or whatever, or when someone drags a fave to the pits. Especially the meltdowns are all just entertaining for the readers, but it will not garner you respect and appreciation of other posters.
Let's say Kim Kardashian, one of the most famous people in the world. People follow her around to see what she's doing and what not. But is she respected enough? Not really. You may have all this fame and success but that doesn't necessarily mean it will bring you respect and acclaim. Does my example make sense?
You can be bold and put yourself out there but you still need to preserve your classiness. You need to acknowledge the two side of being a "hot mess" and "classy" and merge between the two.

Except, forgive me boyonce, I wasn't touching on respect and classiness there. Just speaking on pure ATRL popularity (), but in no way was I trying to degrade the value of the former two traits either.
Quite honestly, I was just trying to bring light to those members here who feel hopeless or clueless in their position in the ATRL hierarchy, so to say. Hell, I won ATRL's Next Top Member and tend to receive a lot of "classy" acclamations, but I still often find myself unsure in where I stand or apprehensive in what or if I should post something that's a bit brass or inconsistent. But then sometimes I just dismiss it and go through with whatever said action, then 9 times out of 10, at the end of the day, I either feel better that I did or it ended up not biting me in the ass like I thought it would. And either way, I still learn from it.
Sometimes you've got to fall flat on your face a few times to find your footing. Just wanting to inspire Blue or whoever else can relate after this round

Preach sis!
Kitt - concise, knowledgable, and honest. A great role model for Charm Schoolers!
