But without the approval system there's no real way for us to enforce:

Like, it's hard enough to manage the section as is, with the system. It's even harder without.
Plus, hosts need to be checked for their WP level before making a game - which links in to the "abandoning tournaments" rule. Katie spearheaded this one, as it's annoying for hosts to get banned.
It just doesn't make sense to introduce an approval system, then take it away, because all the other new rules would fall apart. People would make as many games as they want and continue to abandon games and copy other games etc.
