Confession: I cried a bit when Stacy Layne Matthews talked about being bullied. I'm usually not very moved by such stories, so idk, I must have been having an emotional day or something.

Episode 2
Put a **** in It - Judges' Critiques

This is a solid and safe entry. Parodies are a drag queen's old reliable and your team was probably the most unified since you all contributed, but it lacked standouts. It's maybe the least interesting entry of the three, but it's still ok. Passable.
Team 2:
I think if you were to take a serious standpoint on any challenge it would be probably best for this one. It was an interesting decision. The song itself is fine, it's kind of heart-wrenching, but I just don't think the team aspect was there. In fact, there seems to be some issues. Everyone wants to stand out in a team challenge, but there's Beyoncé in Destiny's Child standing out and then there's Nicole Scherzngndfkd in the Pussycat Dolls standing out.
Team 3:
I can see why MiMi would inspire you to write about STI's.
This is a very ambitious entry and I think it paid off. Even though you had two deadweights on your team, you really pulled it out of the bag. The song alone would've probably made me love it, but the whole package certifies it. I want to hear Mariah cover it immediately.

Team 1:
Out of all the teams, you appear you have worked together the best, so well done for that, because you were also the biggest group. You handled the actual challenge quite well. I like that each of you played your own part, there was basically no weak link in your group who did nothing (or at least this is what I'm gathering from what you've contributed and what you all said about the challenge). To me, I think each of you did a good job and should all be safe in my opinion. For your song however, it was not my favourite. You worked well, but I think you could've done better. While I don't hate the idea of a parody, I don't particularly love it, either. Jpow and jax. are the two lowest from your team solely for forgetting to send the confessional. I don't know who your leader would've been, or if you ever had one, but I figured Getback and Dancehall took the most leader-like approach based on what they said, so they're the highest two for that. However, all of you were in my Top 12.
Team 2:
Moonchild, I think your song is a little more suited to a game like Platinum Hit. While I appreciate the more serious route, I think it could also be a little forgettable, or not as hard hitting as something that would be more in your face, if I visualsise this as if it were a real drag race challenge. Your lyrics are strong, but they just dont seem to fit the challenge correctly for me. I think DivaDown's song may have worked better if it was submitted instead. However, I do think it was a ballsy risk and you centertainly took a huge part in this. Killer rose, I'm glad you went all out in your confessional, because it made you more noticeable and shows you have more to offer, possibly. My advice to you all (minus Moonchild) would be, if there is another group challenge, do NOT let somebody else shine instead of you. Falling back into the shadows will make you end up at the bottom of our rankings. It's a shame that some of you were busy or whatever, but I'm pretty sure the outcome would've been exactly the same. Personally, I would like two of your team members lipsyncing.
Team 3:
To me this was a perfect mix between idiotic humour and the positive message of safe sex. Your imagery was very well used. If this were a real drag race challenge, you could easily film this in some kind of fast food back drop. It works very well in that aspect, and I think you did a great job with that. I love that you name dropped one of your own members in the song. It's just SO stupid that it's genius and hilarious. You incorrorated this along with lines about Prep, grindr, all the different types of stds, which made it very relevant to the challenge as well. From what I gather Fefe and YSL took the ropes with this, but I see Niko and Matthew worked well too. MiMi's confessional made up for her lack of contribution. BeyRih ultimately faded completely into the background, but in the grand scheme of my rankings (from 1-19) you are not in my bottom two for the lip sync, but you're close. So, granted that you make it through, don't just skate by again.

You guys obviously went for a comedic approach and didn't take this very seriously, parodying a really popular song right now. I think that was very smart, and attention grabbing. If this was played for a bunch of high school homos I'm sure the message and catchy tune would stick to them. I loved your team collaboration, I loved how you all worked very well together and got everyone to participate and contribute. It was very much a team effort. This was the only team I had no negative comments for.
Team 2:
In a direct opposite approach, you guys went for a serious and very emotional entry. While it didn't make as big as an impression as team ones entry was and it didn't have all the flash team two had, I think the positive and serious nature made it stand out more in a good way. Since STI's are a very serious topic. That being said, I would have still liked to have seen some personality, this group especially, since you were all the ones that needed to make a bigger impression last week. It still kind of fell flat and the serious tone of the song isn't enough to make it number one. As much as I'm glad you guys took it seriously, I also wish you guys would have done a little more to show your individual personas.
Team 3:
I feel like you stole this from Bonnie McKee since the lyrics were that cheesy and it almost sounded professionally done (take this how you see fit). It almost felt like a boring after school special. Like your high school English teacher is obligated to play after class but no one pays attention to it. I'm kind of disappointed since there wasn't really a team effort put here besides Fefe and YSL who did an amazing job here on everything. This is a team challenge after all. I don't know if it's because some people took total control and didn't allow for input, but either way you guys are supposed to be drag queens, speak up.

I received your entry first, and, after reading, I couldn’t conceive of either of the other teams beating you. That feeling didn’t last. This is very clever, very funny, and very underwhelming when put up next to some of the other contributions. I applaud your teamwork (your group easily had the best working relationship and most-equal contributions, special shoutout to Yuri and Udders). However, the finished product needed some extra oomph. When the other two teams both opted for original songs, it ended up coming across as sort of lazy that you did a parody. While I think it was great and catchy, a good part of that is due to Taylor Swift’s original version. This reminds me of Willam’s Boy is a Bottom, while the other teams are tracks from Jinkx and Violet, respectively. Yours may have the best chart run, but is it the best song?
Team 2
I appreciate that you guys took a different route with this than the other two teams. My main concern isn’t really a lot of the writing (in fact, I think your song is stellar), it’s more that this doesn’t feel like a team entry. I know that everyone approved Scarlett’s version, but that’s disappointing to me as a judge when I see each of you do your own song and then just pick the best. Where was the collaboration? And why the hell did you make a Snapchat room? That’s just weird to me for collaborative purposes. Don’t get me wrong, some of you got very good scores. But this was by no means a team entry. Nellie, I would like to compliment you on your version. While I agree with you for submitting Scarlett’s, you really proved this week why I decided to keep you safe last challenge. Keep it up. As for the rest of you…The spotlight was on Scarlett the whole time, and it’s interesting to me that you were all okay with that.
Team 3
Looking at JUST the lyrics, you won this challenge. Looking at everything else, you obliterated the other two teams. Despite the fact that Kaeli didn’t contribute much and that Mimi was useless as usual, you guys put together a very solid entry that doesn’t feel too dominated by one person. I love that even though Carrie Messiah wrote and sang most of the lyrics, each of you was involved in a different aspect. Like the cover art, the bridge, the lyric video, ect. THAT is how you manage to bring together people with different skill sets. My only complaint is that you did not ask Pears, Sub, Drip, and I for permission to use our likeness in your single art.

While you ladies untuck in the Interior Illusions Lounge, the judges and I will deliberate.

Pears, Citrus said it was okay that Jax nor I didn't send a message with our contributions since all of our contributions were listed in the song itself.
