Songs are usually added on a Sunday here in the UK, The release date says the 18th of March on Amazon

But it'd be pretty stupid to add POM on iTunes on a Monday, because it would have lost a day sales

Many unknown bands make their covers of popular songs and end up selling them on iTunes.

It's been on UK iTunes for like a week or two now, and the single has been out for a month, with the song being online for a year, it wouldn't be that hard to record a cover version. It only takes like a an hour or two.

It was because of a cover version performing brilliantly on UK iTunes that the release of We Found Love was bumped up 4 and a half weeks to a Wednesday and it still hit #1 by a large margin, so this is a good sign for Katys version.
