I'm not biased toward either Christina or Britney and I think it's wrong to argue that one of them is more talented than the other. On the whole though, Christina does make better, more innovative music. I thought "In the Zone" was a great cd and "Britney" had some strong tracks, but overall those cds had little on their mind. "Christina" was more solid than "BOMT", "Stripped" was uneven but had a lot of soul, and "Back to Basics" has a little too much filler--but overall, each of those cds were more enjoyable than Britney's. The thing about Britney is that her music has always been directed at young girls and young women. I think Christina's music has always appealed to people of all ages. I don't think Christina is any more talented than Britney, I like them both very much, but I think Christina challenges herself a bit more with her music than Britney does.

it´s sad yet predictable that unnecessary bashing and stupid hating goes on here every time i log onto PF....today we christina fans have great news of her concerts in australia/NZ selling out within hours, and already adding second shows to all apart from 2 already...so much for the flop 
you britney fans has had a great day to celebrate the return to stage of your idol, be happy with that!....it´s great for you, must feel amazing!
....yet it doesn´t seem enough for you, since it seems almost as important to hate christina whether she have success or not...making all those faces....too good that most unbiased ppl here find it being annoying and childish
...and lol @ someone´s saying "now i know why she´s called legentina, she has the records in most flops in a row"....that´s a desperate and not so solid fact lol, but he might have sources of which i´m unfamilliar to...

I honestly dont think christina cares if britney is more talked about. They both are diffrent artist. I dont see why we have to choose between one of the other. Some like britney more becase she a dancer. Other like christina for her singing. Some people like both for diffrent reasons. People need to grow up and realize that this is not 1999 anymore. They both had their fair share of sucess

Finally someone has the mind of a GENIUS!
I'll be honest right here and all. I like both Christina and Britney for different reasons. Even though I am much more of a fan of Britney, but I think Christina is more talented. Look at my last.fm, Britney is my second listened artist, while Christina is 27 or so.
I honestly think Britney's music is more memorable then Christinas. It's more upbeat and it's one of those types where you can listen to it and just sing along to it, and even dance too. Christina is one of those artists where we know she has much more talent, vocal wise and even grammy wise, but nothing about her music is memorable. It's good and all, but 10 years from now, are we going to remember Candyman? Probably not, we'll for sure remember Toxic though.
Britney is more of an entertainer if anything. People look up to Britney because of that. Her music is not known to be good. Being a huge Britney fan, I can even 'admit' her music isn't like...outstanding or excellent. She has the type of music that just 'gets' to you on the inside whether it's being catchy, singing along, or just simply 'hearing' her unique voice.
Christina is vocally better, yes, I'll even admit that (being a Britney fan). Christina is more talented, yes, I'll even admit that. Christina is known for her outstanding vocal power that she gives to her fans.
Christina is Christina.
Britney is Britney.
Why can't we just end this now and move along? They both went in separate paths. One went down the wrong path, while the other did fine. But now they are both on track.
Remember this though, this battle between Britney and Christina all started because of their music. Music is music, and we all have different tastes. That is all I would like to say. Not sure what else to mention. Hope you 'understand' this.

Who's received more grammys? Christina, while Britney hasn't gotten any. That's what I meant by that (sorry, didn't clairfy that well)
 , but I'm not even 100% sure if Christina HAS any grammys under her belt.
