Let's not even try that "buzz single" crap. It was a song made for the Super Bowl, hence the whole aura and theme of the song & video, and it was meant to be the first single, and it still is the first single.
You know this sounds boring right? I have all her albums i love her more than anyone but i wont lie.Madonna sounds like she just wants to do music for the fun of it now.You can clearly tell.So for that im gonna stop putting her up their with the new ( IT ) girls..Madonna needs to have fun.And i wish everyone would stop joking on gimmie all your luvin because thats song >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> girl gone wild..Sorry. sTILL GONNA GO TO THE MIAMI SHOW AND BUY THE ALBUM THO!

I don't love it. It's nice, but it's underwhelming -- I already feel like I've gotten everything I'll ever get out of it. And I'm one of those rare folks who likes GMAYL.
I don't think it will be a smash hit like Hung Up or 4 Minutes, unfortunately. It's a shame she seems to be so off her game this era.
I've listened to this a few times now, and I can't say this has grown any bit. I love Madonna to bits, but this does not go anywhere. It's too simular to ''Celebration'' and ''Revolver'', which were not really good. It's strange how the intro can be so promising, but the rest so off-putting. Someone from Madonna's calibre shouldn't be mentioning ''808 drums'' and rhyming things along the lines of ''desire-fire-wire'' or ''tanqueray-astray-away''. It's just under her level. I even slightly prefer GAY Luvin'. It was playful, fun and actually sounded like nothing on the radio. And I know Mr. Benassi can do better too, if you'd listen to ''Brave'' or ''Beautiful People''.
Sorry for being so negative, but I haven't been properly amazed (by the music only: the artwork, the video and the Superbowl were ****ing amazing) this time around.
It's...okay. They said this track was as good as 'Vogue' and that's clearly not the case. It's underwhelming and forgettable. And her vocals often get lost within the production, I expected better.
