It's just that I do not tolerate safe choices, because contestants will just sail through every round. But I do believe I also make safe choices. So it still depends on the matter of taste in music.

I just hope I could hear nonmainstream artists because I want to listen to different kinds of music. Especially Song 9, it's a good song. Kinda mainstream though because the band is kinda popular now, but the song is indeed different from what we are used to hearing in the radio.

I know but you separated the 'safe' choices with the 'amazing' choices.
Even though someone like me who listens to mainstream only is obviously going to pick that type of song.

I judge by how much I like the song, not by how safe or unsafe it is... Most of the time, I don't even know who sings it, so a Katy Perry song might as well have been sung by an indie artist. It's hard to tell unless the voices are extremely distinct.
