Kpop isn't really comparable to rock or country. It's not a genre of music, it's just music in Korean. Or does Kpop only refer to popular korean music? idk.
But there's a lot a variety, sonic wise, and people just aren't willing to admit that they're too lazy to explore another category of music when they're comfortable with the amount they have now (with english speaking music). That's how I used to feel, anyway.

Judging by the comments in here, it's more so ignorance. The Manufacturing term won't work since most of y'all favs are fit in that category which some of them actually need to be manufactured due to their lacking singing ability and no rhythm.

Music is Music. I can understand if you can't get into it because of the language barrier, but if you have to say something negative, just ignorance.
