If you're making popular music, you want/crave/hunger/thirst for fame. You can still be interesting, and you can still consider your work art, but don't say you don't want fame.

She basically noted that she's a real artist in the sesnse that she's the sole creative force behind her imagery and sound....as in she writes ALL her OWN music and video scripts while not relying on others to do so for her (and she gave Rihanna as an example of the non-artist pop star she's NOT...but it's not shade if it's true)

That's just plain stupid

She obviously likes pop music, which is why she is making it.
That doesn't at all mean she 'wants/craves/is hungry/is thirsty' for fame at all. PERIOD
Do all pop artists crave fame? no.
Do all rock or soul singers not want fame? no.
A lot of artists make music that they enjoy, they don't make it to be popular/unpopular.

I get that some artists make pop music to become popular, but don't say it as though its a fact that they all crave fame.
