I'm reaching at all. I know Usher is a staple to the industry. I'm not comparing that Katy is a bigger star than him at all. Katy has a ways to go to meet where Usher is. I'm speaking in terms of the project itself. With declining album sales, a re-release is risky because people get mad when they have to buy an album again. Luckily an EP is optional. So he's going to have to work harder because of the situation.

Yeah, some people will be tempted to buy one and some people will be tempted to buy the other. If it was just the EP, then that may be a different story. But they both will affect each other.

No one was mad when Confessions re-released. It was the re-release that pushed him to Diamond status. =/
