Bionic is such an humongous flop. I wonder if it will even sell 300k in the US when all is said and done. I can't believe Christina's massively hyped album will struggle to sell (in total) what Blackout sold in it's first week!

Permanent December is amazing and the best song on the album but I doubt anything can save her album. Miley's success relies mainly on Disney/kids and she basically ostracized the main people that cared about her with her new image and it's going to be hard for her to undo this damage.

You cant compare him to a Drake or Eminem or expect him to be selling hundreds of thousands just right out of the gate.

Unlike Derulo and Most other new male artists, he is CONSISTENTLY selling at a decent rate.

I agree wholeheartedly.

While I wish he was doing better, he is doing better than several artists out now. He doesn't have the hype Drake has or the recognition Eminem has. But I'm content with his success thus far. Gold is definitely possible for him at the rate that he's going. Same can't be said for many artists out now.

And the more hits he gets the MORE his name will be built up and the more his sales will take off in the long run. Trey Songz' READY era is a perfect example of This.

B.o.B is doing just fine. He has two huge singles on his record & it looks like he is about to get a third big single (Magic). The level of popularity he has ATM is an all-time high for him. His album has sold 300K & it's still selling about 15-20K a week. Pretty soon the album will be gold & beyond.

In short, he's selling much more consistently than most of these other albums.

Actually, I was comparing him to new artists like Ke$ha who also had a #1 debut single. And she went gold at this point.

His second week drop was disappointing (1-12). I didn't expect that. I thought he'd have more weeks in the Top 10. And I thought he'd be closer to gold by now. I don't think he has the biggest flop of the year, I'm just continuing the conversation... that my expectations for him were higher than this.

Despite his drop the second week (the % drop was pretty normal, just not the position), his sales are consistent or have been consistent. That's the most important part or should be.
