I don't get why people are implying Rih could get heat from black people over this. Most black people DGAF about Rachel identifying as black. Mainstream white media blew that story up; the black folks I know (myself included) thought the story was either bizarre, hilarious or both. This doesn't even make sense in the slightest. Gender is a social construct, too, so you are basically saying that people are not allowed to identify as male or female. Identification itself is a social construct, it's not natural.
