The increased amount of the macrophages is to be blamed to the reduced effectivity of those cells. This concludes that weed smokers have just as high chance to get infections as tabacco smokers.

Decades of research is staring you in the face, wake up and smell the roses. Frankly I don't care how much you wanna smoke but the information is out there. We know now how drinking affects the body, we know how smoking affects the body and people will still do it, now we know more about the effects of smoking weed and people will still do it

One of the conspiracy theories that interest me is that,. the air we breath or the food we take as planted with chemicals that makes as calm down or not see things clear. I personally feel like marijuana is safer than many over the counter drugs. I was in a car accident were I was shot out the windshield. I had to be in physical therapy to retrain on how to walk. Drs prescribe me many muscle relaxers like candy, the down side is that the medicine gives me horrible side effects to the point were I cannot function because of how strong they are and the worse part was they they only made me feel stupid enough not to care about the pain, but te pain was still there. Medical marijuana actually takes the pain away, I can sleep, and wake up feeling refreshed and NORMAL With no side effects and ready to take my day by the horns. A lot of the negativity towards it comes from social stigma. Marijuana in a sense is like guns. Guns aren't bad, it all depends on who's using it.

People in here claiming about how it changes your state of mind, yet some of probably have 2 Starbucks a day. Caffeine and auger also alter your state of mind, yet it's pumped into almost everything.

What people need to understand is that drugs are created in a lab, not from the soil.

I don't see why it's illegal in a lot of places when cigarettes and alcohol are legal everywhere. I think it's fine in moderation. Will I ever smoke pot or experiment? No. However, it does great things like help cancer patients and cure anxiety.

This is why I think Weed/Psychedelics should be legal.

Not very glamorous, I know, but someone got to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Ask anyone working in mental institutions or mental hospitals about the cannabis use of their patients, you'll be shocked to hear the numbers...

Mental illnesses can't be "triggered" by weed. there has to be some other relation to the patient than using cannabis.
