Why can't she just make an album full of ballads & mid-tempo songs? That's her strongest work. I always find her uptempo songs reductive & cringe-worthy

There will be an eleven day tracking week next week; from June 29 - July 9 for both sales and streaming. This is so the global release date will change to Friday afterwards.
Why not release the single on June 29 then? Because radio tracks from Wednesdays. Radio will be tracked from July 1 to July 12, and therefore this allows her to have a radio deal, have the rolling effect on July 8 and recover from it in time that it doesn't affect her first week numbers or second week longevity in a negative manner.
The name doesn't scream hit, but not going to label it a flop simply from the name!!!

I really don't think the 11 day tracking period will benefit her, unless she intends to squish as much promo into the first week (well, 11 days) as possible
Her sales tend to drop off about 50%+ in the second week
Maybe "For The Summer" would've been a better title but I haven't heard the song, maybe it isn't as tragic as we think. I just hope for a major improvement from the tragic music we got last era. She can do better, she's proven it with HWGA/Unbroken.
If this is really the title, it doesn't have to be bad now I think about it. As I said in the other thread, it could mean like heart attack/GYHAB, she had a breakup and now she's depressed and alone in the summer? or it could be a fun not generic TIHWD song, or a sexual GFY song. I'll wait for more official information from Demi and her team.
People already saying the song will be a generic mess judging by its title, can't wait for Demi to prove everyone wrong (hopefully) and see if the song is really that good and different from what we've heard from Demi until now.
Remember what that guy said, it is not bubblegum pop and it could be her biggest song to date and that billboard insider "fell in love" with this

Do you think each week from now on will be 11 days? Um no.
It will be Monday to Sunday after July 12, but the 11-day tracking week is for that to be able to change. Currently radio tracks from Wednesdays, so the 11 day week will start on Wednesday and end the following Sunday
