Nobody but Katy and Madonna, and I don't even think Katy hates Gaga, and Madonna claims she doesn't.
But those are the only two i've ever seen take 'issue' with Gaga.
Everyone in the industry who talks about Gaga say she's lovely.

Well, the ones in the Lana base who hate Gaga don't hate her because of So Legit either and it's not like Lana has strong feelings towards her anymore or that this would have an influence on the hate she get from Lana fans. We have a different taste. It's been six years ago. It really is as simple as that.

why WOULD any fan in their right mind hate an artist because of a diss song like So Legit anyway 
It follows the logic of "if she hates her then I have to as well!", like, people who think that way need to learn to have their own opinion.
I'm a substantially bigger Gaga fan than I am Lana fan but I really don't see any reason to hate Lana based on how her fans behave or because of so legit to be honest. and vice versa if i were a big Lana fan and not a Gaga fan.
And to be completely honest, none of the current pop girls are deserving of being hated anyway.
None of them have done anything remotely deserving of being hated.

Exactly. just as I posted it before because so many were posting "because of So Legit"...The hate was there between these fanbases even before it leaked.
After all, we are just human. We love and we hate. Nothing wrong with that.

I like Lana, both Born To Die and Ultraviolence, I especially liked her during the Born To Die era, but I think Lana fans hate Gaga out of jealousy, the same thing that fuels Lana's bitterness towards Gaga.

Also Lana was never compared to Gaga.

Her music is very much pop, both born to die and paradise were pop, and ultraviolence was a pop rock indie record. I love lana and UV but it is POP music..
Not all pop music has to be dance music

+ making pop music isn't a bad thing for example St Vincent makes pop music but it's way above respect the other pop girls same for Lana.

Lana is a pop girl for people who don't want to admit they like pop music. She makes people feel unique, artsy and alternative for liking her, like their music taste is unique or different, even though literally every young person knows who she is.
Pop is short for popular. Lana Del Rey is popular. She isn't some niche artist you stumble across on the internet, or someone whose name appears in tiny font at the bottom of a music festival flyer. She's a big name. She's pop. You can put different adjectives in front of the word "pop" to describe who she is sonically, like her wikipedia page does - dream pop, indie pop, baroque pop - but at the end of the day, she's still a popular artist.

I know that Lana is popular but certainly isn't making pop music.
I should put it this way. She's not making commercial radio music but yes she is a popular artist.
But when people compare her to "Pop girls" these pop girls make very commercial radio top40 music, so it doesn't make sense really.
None of her albums are pop as pop radio haven't played any of her original songs aside from the remix.
In fact, alternative radio doesn't even play her. They played St. Vincent, Lorde, Banks, etc. but not Lana.
Her music is even less commercial than those artists.

They're not talking about us fans. They're talking about Gaga's (pop) peers. That's why Somalian Hooker said that only Madonna and Katy hate her. I honestly don't know who hates her (besides Perez Hilton) but its obvious Katy doesn't like her. Madonna only had beef with her over Born This Way (understandable) but both fan bases blew that up. And Lana herself is indifferent it looks like.

It still puzzles me why VG, BTD etc never were in the top 10, the were radio smashes not some "non-commercial indie stuff"
