I don't know if manipulative is the right word. She's clearly a very shrewd businesswoman, learning a lot from her Father who was much the same. But that's not a bad thing. She knows what she wants and she sets out to get it. if anything, her business head is one of the things I respect about her most.

We mustn't confuse Beyoncé the businesswoman with Beyoncé the person, who is a sweet, loving, caring woman. When taking care of business, you just can't be that, especially as a woman.

Adele and Katy have stated multiple times that they are huge Beyoncé fans and mention her at every chance they get. Beyoncé simply talked to Katy in a hallway at the Grammys and has had a private dinner with Adele and her boyfriend. I don't understand how that makes her manipulative or calculated. Where are the collabs? Where are the joint tours? Why doesn't she sit next to them at award shows for the cameras like Katy and Rihanna have before? They love attacking Beyoncé for things their fave is guilty of doing much more.
