As much as I want to live out my stan fantasies of Skylar Grey's meteoric rise to the top of the charts on here, I don't know how much time I'll have to promote ha
Aww okay
You got until Saturday to think about it some more bb
Ah okay, so we don't have to like say anything about how the single's performing on iTunes or the charts? You'll do that?
You need to promote your single with 20 articles (TV performances, radio promo, magazines, etc) then send a list of your articles to me at the end of your promo week, and I'll calculate the charts.
My performances will be so special this era. A GH era. W00 I can't believe I've released over 20+ singles in 6 seasons and like 5 albums. Justin really made his m@rk.
Luckily, am not stressing myself this era either since it's a GH and it's okay to not break records with those.
Wonder if this thread can go #1 on the front page like CAL6!
Jordin Sparks takes her first step in to 2015 with an official return to the music Industry. This time Sparks is coming with an army. She is signed to a new label, Genesis Entertainment along with another Idol contestant, Kelly Clarkson. Sparks is geared up to release her lead single from her new album "Right Here,Right Now" Early January
We asked Sparks what was the sound on the new song. "It is definitely nice catchy song and I'm not alone on the track" Sparks giggled."The track is called Double Tap and I'm going to leave it at that." "I've also been in and out the studios, so expect some more features to come on the album."

Sparks also recently broke up with Jason Derulo and having a time to focus on her life. She is still single and currently happy with life. Below is a link of her remix of Drakes "How Bout Now" to keep her fans busy until her lead single arrives
Aguilera partners up with The Fishbowl Foundation Inc.
It's been reported that Christina Aguilera has partnered up with The Fishbowl Foundation Inc. which coincides with the release of her lead single - Waves - from Aguilera's 8th upcoming studio album. She'll be greatly involved in raising awareness for the deprivation of water in less fortunate countries and work towards protecting the ever-decreasing population of fish that are being taken advantage of by corporations known to reap the seas of its native creatures. This will, hopefully, be more publicised through Aguilera's star power as she feels incredibly passionate about such a saddening cause like the lack of basic necessities and the continuing deterioration of our world.
In case you have no clue what a Fishbowl even is, The Fishbowl Foundation Inc. has been around for almost a decade although they've been experiencing insufficient funds ever since. The overall premise of this charity is a joint operation in their efforts to supply those any clean, efficient access to water and to help protect the exploitation of the fishing industry. This is an ambitious project since many foundations only cater to one specific area although it's said that this coalition, if you will, has garnered much interest.
Aguilera found about about The Fishbowl Foundation Inc. through her already-apparent humanitarian work with the WFP - a well-known organisation who are devoted to feeding those who probably don't have access to food. She was awarded by Hillary Clinton back in late 2012 for being a WFP ambassadress. It's not concrete as to whether WFP and TFF have a relationship of sorts or a form of communication although Christina's connection to both parties will probably spark an agreement between the two organisations.
Waves, the lead single of Aguilera's 8th upcoming album, was officially released yesterday and it's said to be closely linked with the project The Fishbowl Foundation Inc. has in mind for the duration of 2015. The song talks about having the courage to take risks and become one with the "waves" and this idea of dependency. This inspiring message definitely shows a number of parallels with TFF's aim to unite the world through the affection for others, including animals who are subjected to cruelty and those who are more than likely less fortunate than us.
The Fish Foundation Inc. has leaked a billboard of Christina who is seen promoting their current scheme. Her hair lies uninhibitedly, resting on its side, with tight flourishing curls. Aguilera poses with a solemn face against a maroon background almost comparative to cocoa beans. The text reads: "Save our planet #makewave" which is tie-in with Aguilera's lead single, Waves. This header was leaked onto the internet through TFF's official Facebook and Twitter pages. It's been said that a takeover of sorts will happen throughout the week so be sure to keep an eye out for Christina in the coming days!
Public response to Aguilera's campaign with The Fish Foundation Inc. has been extremely positive with many Fighters aka Christina fans donating to the cause at hand. This then sparked Xtina to respond with a statement thanking her committed supporters and encouraged them to spread the word even more. The partnership Christina currently has with TFF seems to be working in her favour especially when softening her image and reputation due to many not knowing that she did philanthropy work with the World Food Program. We wish Aguilera all the best of luck in her upcoming projects!
Please donate to The Fish Foundation Inc.
Xtina's lead single, Waves, is available to purchase NOW.
"Bella's New Single Titled 'Baby, Don't Hurt Me' to release tonight!"
After a month of signing to Womanizer Records, Bella Thorne finally announced her new debut single "Baby, Don't Hurt Me". She had just announced the news this morning via her twitter page. To keep you Bellarina/os excited for the single coming out tonight, I am going to release some information on the new single!
A week ago, Bella invited me to her glorious house to hear her new single. She asked me not to tell anything about the single until she has announced it. I, of course, kept my word to Bella. She was very happy. She then told me she was going to share me her debut single.
Bella has had her fair share of time in the spotlight with the hit Disney show "Shake It Up" which she co-starred with her best friend Zendaya Coleman. Like many Bellarina/os and Zswaggers, I just had to know if they were going to collab together! Bella laughed and told me her debut single was just her alone, but the two girls may be working on something for Bella's album!
Bella then told me how inspired she has been by Lana Del Rey and the Fleetwood Mac recently and said how she wanted to make a Indie Rock-Pop album. After telling me this, Bella finally opened up her computer and let me listen to her new single entitled "Baby, Don't Hurt Me".
The song starts off with a beautiful light piano while Bella whispers in the background "Baby, don't hurt me / I know I caused you pain" a couple times. You can hear the emotion in her voice, it's breaking - she's clearly upset. Suddenly there's a drum crash which starts up a loud strung of guitars. You can definitely tell she was heavily inspired by Lana and Fleetwood but not to the point where it's a copy, Bella somehow adds her own style into the music. By this point, I'm already swaying back and forth, and this is just the intro alone!
By the time the first verse ends, I notice there are no autotoned vocals, Bella wanted to give us stripped raw vocals to really push the powerful effect and feeling of the song. The song shares some amazing and personal lyrics, when it ended that was when Bella told me she had written the song by herself.
The chorus is so hard-hitting, you can tell that Bella is crying out to her lover, she wants him back but she doesn't want to get hurt again. She sings and shares some beautiful imagery with powerful haunting lyrics such as "You are like a sky full of stars in the daytime / I wanted to touch them, it was too late and they burned out". She shares about how mysterious and different her lover is and how he keeps her on the edge of her seat wanting more.
The final chorus ends with Bella letting out a huge belt showing off the powerhouse vocals we never knew she even had! The song slowly comes to an end as the drums slowly die down and the guitars let out a couple more light strums as Bella once again sings the intro lines "Baby don't hurt me / I know I caused you pain" as soft oooos are sung harmonically in the background.
You guys definitely won't be disappointing with this song, it is so artistically different than what Bella's peers are releasing today. I wish her and her single all the luck and success!
Bella will be debuting her single tonight at 7PM on Z100, the song will go up on iTunes at midnight!
Selena Gomez, who has been on a break in Paris for the last few months, is hitting the road again. The pop icon (who has been confirmed to be recording a new album) is getting back in the scene with promotion for her last album Fools Paradise. Selena Gomez will be embarking on a promotional trip (which she urges is "NOT A TOUR!" where she hits seven cities to perform songs off of her album Fool's Paradise. Supporting her on the promo trip will be one of the most important rappers of this generation, J. Cole. The five European cities she's hitting are Saint-Denis in France, Barcelona in Spain, Milan in Italy, Dortmund in Germany, Dublin in Ireland, Istanbul in Turkey and Lisbon in Portugal.
The trip is titled "7 Nights In Heaven" - obviously a play off of the infamous game 7 Minutes In Heaven. Selena commented on the title saying "I called it this because, like the game, it'll only be happening for a short amount of time. But anything can happen in Heaven." While Selena will definitely be touring Europe in the future (probably not until her next album), we're told the reason this show is so exclusive and important is because like we mentioned above, she doesn't plan on touring, and Selena feels like she's in her "artistic prime" both creatively, performance wise and musically. "This'll probably be my best show ever." she tells us.
"I purposefully made the show only seven dates because I really want this to be a special experience. A once in a lifetime thing. I want anyone who comes to this show to feel lucky and exclusive." she also said. A promotional video is played on the singers website, in which she did a voice over that said "I am a gypsy. I run from city to city. I am a natural born nomad. I am elusive. I'm hard to catch. So come see if you can catch me."
J. Cole, will be traveling with Selena from city to city as the supporting act. He was quoted as saying "Over the last few years, Rap has been gaining a European following. It wasn't always as big as it is now, and I'm happy that by being part of such a huge show, I can help it become even bigger in Europe. At one point, hip-hop was a strictly american thing. But now it's starting to grow and become bigger. I've been performing at different events in Europe but nothing of this magnitude. I haven't played in actual stadiums and hopped from country to country every other day. I'm mad excited to get to experience that with someone as hard-working, beautiful, down to earth and talented as Selena. And I'm thankful to her for giving me this opportunity." Selena commented on Cole saying, "For me to ask anyone to be my supporting act, that means I really have to respect you and your artistry and I definitely appreciate that among other things about Jermaine". The announcement of the show spurred a positive reaction - the album went top ten on itunes in every European market and the US. The first show kicks off on December 28th and tickets are on sale NOW.
I know for a damn fact this era was still occurring a year ago when I released the Christmas album.
d; Yes. I released the album almost exactly a year ago, I think. But think about it - I don't play THAT much and this isn't shade to anybody but Selena has stressed being above the silly antics (the weekly single releases, the popcorn eras, everybody doing the same shows and promo spots as each other week after week, rush releasing **** just to release). It's just not for her.
It's why legend is LEGEND. She's an icon. She's not a rookie and will NOT play the rookie games.
