Except for the fact that she currently is, and her last album outsold ARTPOP easily. Gaga's career is declining quickly while Nicki is going steady.
Born This Way is bigger than Nicki's last 2 eras combined, again your point? She's going steady because of Anaconda where was that steady career in PNP?
EDIT: before JimmyMinaj jump at me again and say "currently" read his post first.

Didn't the Re-up only do 36k in it's first week and bomb overall? Didn't she then try to put the blame on target for the album not doing well because they wouldn't sell it? Didn't her lead single from her latest album fail to go Gold? (huge decline from Starship). Pretty steady career she got there.
Umm can you compare Nicki's huge achievements with Gaga's huge achievements?
Or should I do the honors?
You should do the honors, sis.

And people not taking into account how easy it is to "stay steady" when you were never that big to begin with while peaking with 16m albums sold is one hell of a thing to duplicate.
Pills N Potions bombed
and whats the point in bragging about a song that only reached it's peak due to immense amount of streaming and still couldn't get to #1.
Applause has sold 4 Million WW and went 2x Platinum (bigger than all the singles Nicki has released recently) DWUW also. Were not going to go into ARTPOP is sales because Nicki hasn't released her album yet and theres a high possibility she could debut with and sell worse.
So no. Gaga is still a bigger touring act, can Nicki even tour WW? She's also still bringing in much more $$. So what exactly are the people voting ''yes'' going by?
