Compare it to last year. Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Justin Timberlake & Katy Perry

I thought she was alone to make it the most watched Vma like you guys claimed? Now the result is out, you back track like a little byotch in heat? You can't have it both ways. First you say her name alone is enough to bring the rating and now you say the performers list is not good enough? Make up your mind..
If it had been One Direction instead of that 5SOS band, Justin Derulo instead of Usher, Katy Perry instead of Jessie J, Pharell, etc. it would have done a lot better.
Besides Beyonce no one last night was a huge established name in the pop industry besides Usher but his time has long passed...
Don't you guys realize the viewership overall goes down over the years? Nobody watches TV live these days (DVR, hello?), obviously the ratings are gonna be down, I'm not even a fan of Beyoncé but I can understand the way ratings work and basic logic.
