The general public buys phones based on looks, popularity, and how much it stands out.

Most of the public does not have the time to sit on Tech websites comparing operating systems down to the needle to make a decision with buying phones. Save that for the Geek Squad at Best Buy.

TBH. I can never tell what phone a person is using anyways.... they almost all have about the same look at this point.

Android is for people who like to customize and control every aspect of their phones. iOS is for people who just want a nice user experience.

In general, Android is the better OS because there is so much potential in what you can do with your phone. Not to mention that most of the devices that run Android have twice as better tech specs than the iPhone. So they're more suited for power users who know what they're actually doing unlike half of y'all here.

The only phones that have the same look are Androids, and the people who usually buy those buy them because it's all they can afford, they don't have the money to be buying a phone based on looks and what everyone else has, or else they would've had them a new iPhone 5S.

Android phones might have better specs on paper but that doesn't excuse the fact that the iPhone can run just as fast and powerful if not more than android flagship devices

it's funny though because where did they get the idea for the flashlight/calculator/bluetooth/wifi/airplane mode/etc in one easily-accessible menu? or the new "health" thing in ios 8? or the suggestive typing? apple is dragging itself by "introducing" all of these "new" features

I know it is kind of pathetic.

Just today I saw (on another forum) that people were celebrating the fact that Apple was allowing people to start using 3rd party keyboards on their Ipad's. Android has had this from day one..... yet ignorant as hell Apple stans acted like the company was putting out a massive innovation.
